Loopbound is a daily micro-adventure game, available as a website and as an iOS app. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the game. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. It covers both the app and the website; where they differ, we say so.
What we store on your device
Your game progress lives on your device, in local storage, not in an online account. This includes your current streak, completed and unlocked adventures, in-progress runs, and a randomly generated identifier used to keep your save consistent. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us, except as described below. Deleting the app or clearing its data removes it permanently.
Email reminders (optional)
If you choose to opt in, you can give us your email address to receive a reminder when a new daily adventure is available. This is entirely optional and the game is fully playable without it.
- We use your email only to send Loopbound reminders.
- We do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties for their marketing.
- You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email, or by contacting us.
Reminder emails are stored and sent using trusted service providers (a database provider and an email delivery provider) solely to operate this feature.
Analytics and advertising
The iOS app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking. It does not track you across other apps or websites.
On the website only, we use privacy-friendly usage analytics and an advertising pixel to understand traffic and measure marketing. These are not present in the app. If you visit the website, you can limit this using your browser's privacy settings or an ad/tracker blocker.
Children
Loopbound is suitable for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us their email, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
- Play without giving any personal information at all.
- Unsubscribe from reminder emails at any time.
- Ask us to delete your email from our records.
- Clear your on-device save through your device settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
